Description
- Framed and glazed. Housed in a complementing frame, contemporary graphite; the glass is to museum standard and UV protective. Near fine condition, little to no fading and minimal foxing. Some wear to extremities of the frame, otherwise excellent.
- The drawing was a part of Grimshaw’s townscape series, for which he is best known. The addition of colour was to be mainly found in his depiction of Cheshire landscapes.
