Fine lithographic print from the prestigious Italian suite, limited to an edition run of 900 copies.
The Pater Noster portfolio represents Dalí’s mid-career engagement with the sacred, a period marked by his return to the Catholic faith and classical themes. The suite was commissioned through the mediation of Dr. Giuseppe Albaretto, a close personal friend of Dalí and a prominent collector.
In near fine condition and without colour loss or spotting to paper; a very good impression to wove paper.
Framed and glazed; ultra lightweight composite frame. Only superficial marking to frame, otherwise excellent.
