- Ray Fawcett (1934-1994) was accomplished in the era of British Modernism and contemporary art. As such he developed an abstract style which shared context with contemporaries like Asger Jorn, Corneille and Ben Nicholson. No part of his composition is more important than any other, in comparison to his earlier style, which often tallied with the instinctive movement of the eye, vertically from the bottom.
- Canvas, 122.0x76.7cm; external, 122.7x77.4cm.
