- The engraving was plated for Tonsons from the original wood block carved by Fourdrinier, for act V, scene 1, of Antony and Cleopatra
- Fourdrinier was an important a printmaker who lived from 1698 to 1758. His work was part of various Shakespeare publications, and now held at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
- The woodcut is custom framed, on elevated mount; crown stamped to verso at Parsonage Studios.
- An excellent impression in good condition excepting minor toning and some spotting.
