Collotype in multicolour.
In near fine condition, without fading or colour loss. Scarce in this condition.
The original work was part of a burst of creativity at the Musée Grimaldi in Antibes. Picasso had just moved to the South of France and was deeply influenced by the Mediterranean atmosphere and ancient Greek mythology. This contrasts the sombre tone of his wartime art.
Framed and glazed; mount elevated over bone black.
