  • First Edition, First Printing. Octavo. Finely bound in a morocco leather fine binding. Spine elegantly formatted with five pronounced raised bands, crisp gold-line accents, panels decorated with classic gilt center florets, and bright gilt lettering for title, author, and date. Covers bordered with a fine gilt rule. All text block edges expertly gilt. Internally featuring premium marbled endpapers. The true first printing with the required "Published May, 1936" copyright line on the verso of the title page.
  • Near fine copy with only a small pencil inscription for front end paper. Very slight spotting to preliminaries otherwise exceptionally clean and bright throughout.
