Fine heliogravure of the etching from Chagall's Bible series. The Bible series is considered one of the greatest artistic achievements in modern times. Chagall's pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1931 was a life-altering experience for the artist, who had always been fascinated by the Bible and religion.
Excellent condition, without fading or toning to paper.
Framed and glazed.
