- Offset lithograph of Chagall’s original work; housed in a custom wooden frame of the period.
- Presented by Parsonage Studio, bearing their crown stamp to verso. Framed, glazed with mount.
- The lithograph is in near fine condition, only the slightest of edge tone, otherwise excellent and without foxing throughout. Uncreased also.
- Measurements approximating, 23x19cm inner; 45x33cm outer. Velin paper; an edition of 6000. This being a very good impression and without bleed.
- Long known for the religious expressionism in his artwork, Chagall depicts Christ as a clock in this captivating Le Christ a l'horloge. With bright colors of purple, blue and yellow and signature symbols of the fish and horse, Chagall presents us with a composition that is full of life and movement.
