- In fine condition. Included its original paper overlay which covers the dust jacket. These embellishments were delicate and not many survive today, especially in near perfect condition like this one.
- The novel was written by American author John Steinbeck. He won the 1962 Nobel Price in Literature "for his realistic and imaginative writings, combing as they do sympathetic humour and keen social perception. The Pastures of Heaven is a short story cycle consisting of twelve interconnected stories about a valley, the Corral de Tierra in California. The valley was discovered by a Spanish corporal whilst chasing runaway Indian slaves. This book is in near fine condition, there is no wear, slight toning to the pages and it has no inscriptions.
