Description
- Rare lithograph from a short run of 200 of which the printing plates were destroyed.
- Housed inside its original French frame, wood with white veneer. Thus, some wear to its extremities.
- The lithograph itself is in very good condition, excepting some toning of the paper. A very good impression and without colour loss.
- Jean Lurcat was close to many of the greats of the 20th century. Among these were Matisse, Renoir and Cezanne. The influence of Matisse, observable in Sun, Moon and Fish.
