- Fine lithograph in black and white, impressed to Lafuma vellum paper. Minor bumping to paper edge, otherwise very good throughout.
- The Jacomet lithographs represent a masterclass in 20th-century printing. Daniel Jacomet used a highly specialised, proprietary stencil and lithographic technique. His process was so precise that it perfectly captured the varying pressures, smudges, and delicate line weights of Matisse’s charcoal and ink drawings.
- This suite was limited to an edition run of a thousand.
- Framed and glazed; contemporary black wooden frame, with UV resistant art glass.
- Image, 20.8x16.3cm; external, 22.9x19.3cm.
