  • First English edition. Quarto. Original publisher's woven grey cloth, spine lettered in white. Complete with the original black gloss-finish "Cromecoat" paper dust jacket featuring Morandi's Natura Morta (1953) to the front panel.
  • Heavily illustrated with 36 integrated monochrome text illustrations and 44 full-page vibrant colour plates.
  • A very good copy. The cloth binding is exceptionally clean, square, and tight, with sharp corners and white spine lettering. Internally bright and free of signatures, stamps, or foxing. The scarce black dust jacket remains crisp and unclipped with some tearing and chipping along the edges; showing only minor sun-toning to the spine panel. An excellent example of this early English monograph on the master of Italian modernism.
