  • Fine lithograph, without colour loss or fading. Small chip to bottom left paper edge, otherwise immaculate. Printed by Mourlot for Braque’s series, Intimate Sketchbooks, published in 1955.
  • This work is was initially part of a secret collection. The sketches had been kept in Braque’s private sketchbooks (Carnets Intimes) between 1946 and 1954, and he was at first reluctant to publish them.
  • Framed and glazed; contemporary wooden frame with mount elevated over black.
  • Image, 31.9x24.9cm; external, 43.5x33.7cm.
