  • Printed by Mourlot for the suite showcasing Braque’s Intimate Sketchbooks.
  • This work is was initially part of a secret collection. The sketches had been kept in Braque’s private sketchbooks (Carnets Intimes) between 1946 and 1954, and he was at first reluctant to publish them.
  • Framed and glazed; contemporary wooden frame with mount elevated over black, with UV resistant art glass.
  • Sheet, 35.5x26.1cm; external, 43.5x33.7cm.
