  • Original work painted in mixed media on card. Bright and clean throughout and in very good condition.
  • Framed and glazed, with raised mount and glazed with UV resistant art glass.
  • David Wilde was born in Manchester and spent a great deal of his artistic career in Europe. Whilst in Paris, his work was exhibited alongside contemporaries, Picasso and Dali. Upon returning to England his style was imbued with the surrealist edge of the great painters of the era, reminiscent of Chagall, Varo and Dali. It was in England also that he became well acquainted with L. S. Lowry and Peter Blake.
