Sixth printing. Quarto. Original stiff paper wrappers, spine and front cover lettered in black, illustrated with the iconic "jiaotai" revolving openwork trigram vase to the front cover. Housed in the publisher’s original matching pictorial card slipcase.
Text in traditional Chinese and English. A near fine, crisp copy, the binding uncreased and entirely clean. Some shelf wear to slip case with slight sunning along the left side edge, remains solid and structurally sound.
A comprehensive reference work capturing the zenith of imperial Chinese ceramic innovation. This exhibition catalogue serves as an indispensable authority on the porcelain wares produced under the direct supervision of the legendary superintendent Tang Ying at the Jingdezhen imperial kilns.
