Original British Quad cinema poster (Style A) for the theatrical release of the 1987 EON Productions film The Living Daylights, adapted from the literary works of Ian Fleming and starring Timothy Dalton in his debut performance as James Bond, 007.
Offset lithograph on heavy commercial paper stock.

Housed in a contemporary black composite frame, with UV-resistant art glass.
The horizontal landscape presentation features the final release ‘Style A’ illustrated montage by renowned poster artist Brian Bysouth, depicting the central 007 silhouette embedded within a pop art gun barrel motif, flanked by the iconic Aston Martin V8 Volante and key cast members.
Following Roger Moore’s twelve-year tenure, this 1987 visual campaign was intentionally designed to signal a gritty return to the darker tone of Ian Fleming’s original stories. This production marks the final, entirely hand painted design issued for the franchise just before a transition to photographic collage and digital design.

A singularly rare example that completely bypassed the standard mechanical machine folding protocols implemented by the National Screen Service distribution depot in 1987. The sheet remains structurally sound and has never been subjected to professional linen or card backing. No pin holes.
The lower boundary retains the complete, highly defined National Screen Service Ltd. legal licensing footnote text in absolute clarity. The heavy inks remain intact, retaining their original depth and vivid colour profile. An immaculate and highly desirable copy, preserved under UV-resistant art glass.
