- Auguste-Jean Gaudin (1914–1992) was a French painter and engraver. His early works were influenced by Picasso, and he eventually developed a signature impressionist style using muted colour palettes. He notably exhibited alongside legendary artists such as Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, and Otto Dix at River College in the USA
