Description
 
Original ink wash and brush drawing to wove paper. In very good condition, bright and clean throughout.
Framed and glazed, contemporary black composite frame. Some wear along frame’s top face edge, otherwise excellent.
Auguste-Jean Gaudin (1914–1992) was a French painter and engraver. His early works were influenced by Picasso, and he eventually developed a signature impressionist style using muted colour palettes. He notably exhibited alongside legendary artists such as Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, and Otto Dix at River College in the USA.
